STALAG VC
Malschbach / Offenburg.
Stalag VC was a POW camp for non-commissioned allied servicemen during the Second World War. The camp was in Malschbach in Baden-Baden and was set up in November 1939.
In February 1942 a new main camp was opened in Offenburg. It included the following sub-camps:
Malschbach (the former main camp).
Strasbourg , called Stalag VC / Z..
Wildbad
Wildberg
A maximum of 30,000 prisoners of war were detained in total from the following countries: Poland, Belgium, France, Soviet Union, Yugoslavia , Italy and the United Kingdom.
